I visited B30 Foodbank to meet the warehouse team and see the incredible work they do for vulnerable people across our community. Their volunteers sort out donations, prepare parcels, and offer vital support to local families facing hardship – especially during the winter months when demand rises sharply.  

To support their work I will be donating to a Reverse Advent Calendar. Instead of receiving something each day, you give something: a tin, a packet, toiletries, or a festive treat. By the end of December, you’ve created a full box of essentials that can be donated to the foodbank. It’s a simple daily act that makes a huge difference. 

With the cost of living still affecting so many, campaigns like this help ensure no one has to choose between heating, food, or other essentials. If you’re able to take part, please consider adding an item a day or donating what you can.
