Al Carns MP
I recently met with a group of local residents in Bournville, who are tackling road danger and making it easier for cyclists and pedestrians to get around.
As someone who enjoys a bike ride, I know the importance of safe and usable roads and cycle paths to get around our area and stay fit. That’s why I convened this meeting to discuss how to fix the safety issues raised by local people who use the roads, cycle paths and canal towpaths in the constituency.
The safety of cyclists and pedestrians in Selly Oak is a real priority. I was very pleased to meet with the local cycling community to explore a range of solutions to the problems they face. The discussion was very constructive, and I look forward to working closely with them to make Selly Oak a safer and easier place to get around on two wheels and on foot.
